How To Use Power Grabs
 
Begin by inserting the end of the wrist strap through the rectangular ring so it creates a large loop, than slide your hand in through the wrist strap. Once through, grasp the palm piece securely, lining up your thumb up with the cutout (indicating a right and left grip) then tighten the strap with the other hand. The Power Grab should fit comfortably around the wrist.

PULLING Exercise (such as dead lifts, rows, shrugs or chin-ups):
  • Position the Power Grab pad in front of the palm of your hand. Place the lifting bar between your palm and the Power Grab so the Power Grab is on the outside of the bar.

 

  • Wrap the Power Grab pad over the top of the weightlifting bar (see Power Grabs training PHOTO1) towards the inside of your hand, and around the bar so that it will be against the inside of your fingers or the palm of your hand. (see Power Grabs training PHOTO 2)

 

  • Now grasp the weightlifting bar as you would normally. At this point you are "locked" on and ready to pull.

 

 

It is not necessary to try to wrap and wrap the Power Grab like a strap around the bar to achieve a solid grip. Just wrap it over the top of and around the bar enough for the pressure from the inside of your hand against the pad will do it. The neoprene covered pad will "stick" to the bar with the help of the added pressure from your hand. PUSHING Exercise (such as bench pressing): 
When performing a push exercise, it is important to have wrist support. The padded wrist closure that attaches the Power Grab to the users wrist is designed for ease of use, comfort, and support.
  • Position the Power Grab on the wrist, then pull the strap snugly to tighten around the wrist. This gives excellent support.
  • With the pad of the Power Grab against the palm of your hand and the weightlifting bar resting on top of the grip, grasp the weightlifting bar as you normally would to perform a pushing exercise.
